The Japanese consumer electronics company Nakamichi Corp., Ltd. (株式会社中道, Kabushiki-Gaisha Nakamichi) was founded in Japan and rose to prominence in the 1970s for its unique and superior audio cassette decks.
In keeping with a long-standing history, Nakamichi established a mobile audio division to bring the same performance and quality from their home audio line to the mobile audio market.
Since its founding in 2004 by a small team, Nakamichi has expanded from a niche player in the mobile audio market to a medium-sized business offering a wide range of products.
